Events Story:

After a few years of technical detailing, I was exposed to the event fabrication and logistic needs and honed how I take clients and designers needs and translate them into a workflow that leads to the production and shipment of astounding work.

Eventually, I started bleeding over into concept design from job to job. A few projects allowed me to take on the title of Event Designer, and I realized that event work gives me the opportunity to exercise many of the skills I have acquired over time and allowed me to express ideas openly.

Project Highlights

New Balance "Made in USA" Tour

  • Client: Creatacor Inc, Pierce Promotions
  • Role: Detailing, Engineering, Setup
    • Cedar Post Construction
    • Multiple Installs/ Single Truck Pack
    • Weighted Deck for code.

This project was the second cedar post tour job I had done. And that gave me a chance to iterate and refine my detailing and engineering more than usual. I also approached the setup drawings differently and provided a step by step visual guide.

Creatacor Marketing Soiree NYC

  • Client: Creatacor Inc.
  • Role: Design, Detailing, Marketing
    • Manhattan self promotion event
    • Build your own drink caddy Kit
    • Wood laser cut Invite.

My first event planning project! A small team and I got together and crafted a promotional event to show off our fabrication and space transforming abilities. My task was to fill the space with fresh elements of what we do and provide a giveaway experience. We came up with the make-your-own drink caddy and invited people to build it and fill it with a selection of capital region beers.

Target Field Target Tube

  • Client: Creatacor Inc., Target.
  • Role:  Detailer, Engineering., Ph0tography
    • 20' Long. Steel/Aluminum Construction
    • Multiple Video Systems
    • Labor Free System for opening.
    • MLB Stadium Semi-Perm. Installation

Engineering wise this project was the most complex and intricate one I have completed. Weeks of developing detail and engineering drawings led to this tubular transformer. Both ends flip out for an interactive experience, and the front drops down and creates a stage or signing area.  I also had the opportunity to shoot some stylized photographs during fabrication, and in turn, permanently added photographer to my job description.

LEGO Life Mobile Photobooth

  • Client: Creatacor Inc., LEGO
  • Role: Designer, Detailer, Setup.
    • Multiple units for tour use.
    • Simple but effective LED lit cyc
    • Perfect place to photograph your creations
    • Custom Road Case shipping

Now and then a project comes along that just fits perfectly with my interests. This photobooth design was one of them. I loved the idea of anyone being able to take a quality photo of their creations and have a more curated memento to look back on or share. The design is simplae and effective, but knowing that I'm helping others present their creations in the best light possible lifts my heart.
